A desire to make the people of Yokosuka smile
Inside the store full of local love
From the owner, to the employees, and even the part time workers studying as college students, nearly everyone is a Yokosuka local.
The restaurant interior is also overflowing with local atmosphere. The staff moving about the large interior with over 80 seats are constantly smiling.
While the interior is somewhat rugged, it's extremely calm and comfortable. With a large variety of customers such as large families, elderly couples, and even American families, it's an energetic place centered around "Yokosuka Beer" where everyone can have a great time.
Craft beer born in Yokosuka
The local craft beer "Yokosuka Beer" is made right on site in the 1-floor brewery attached to the main hall using local ingredients from the Miura Peninsula. It's a craft beer that's received awards both in Japan and internationally.
There's a 5 variety standard line-up but limited edition beers full of individuality are also produced regularly. The beer flight, where you can sample a few varieties of beer at once, is popular.

The owner, Mr. Shimozawa's hometown is Yokosuka. His restaurant first launched in Oppama has expanded to a multiple-location brand in Yokosuka.
He opened "Yokosuka Beer" here in Yokosuka on the 20th anniversary of his business.
"To make the kids of Yokosuka look up, first make the adults smile." He says he first started making craft beer with that idea in mind.
"Up until now, we've grown so much thanks to the ingredients of Yokosuka and the Miura Peninsula. This time, it's our turn to give something back with our beer as producers to make the Yokosuka area more lively." For Mr. Shimozawa, it's a way of thanking the area. Nearly all of the ingredients featured in his 'locally produced, locally consumed' themed menu come from the Miura Peninsula.
Furthermore, they're all from producers with faces. Because of his network with local producers, you can fully enjoy the local produce.
The menu includes signature dishes full of charm like the "Miura Peninsula Ofunamori", "Seasonal Yokosuka Vegetable Salad", "Kinmedai Aqua Pazza", "Misaki Maguro Kama-Yaki", and the "Meat Platter".
